From the point of view of Islam, attention to the quality of human life in the world goes back to the time of sperm formation and fetal life and even before marriage and pregnancy. In this regard, many verses and narrations have been mentioned in the Word of Revelation and the Imams of the Infallibles, peace be upon them, which confirm the importance of the intrauterine life of the fetus and its effect on the quality of life after birth, and the special attention of Islam to this issue. Purpose: Due to expertise. With regard to fertility and midwifery health, as well as considering the compatibility of religious teachings with people's culture and its easier acceptance by mothers, the author of this article examines Islamic customs related to pregnancy from the perspective of Imam Reza's life and school (in line with the goals of the Congress) and its application. It has dealt with modern midwifery sciences. Materials and Methods: In this review, articles published in the databases of PubMed, Google Scholar, Megiran and the database of Qur'anic and Hadith sciences during the years 2000 to 2023 were searched. Out of the 500 articles and books found, 79 were related to the inclusion and exclusion criteria and were reviewed. Findings: The information obtained in the evaluation and review of the articles were classified into 11 groups. The present article deals with the comparative study of these groups between modern midwifery medicine and the scientific teachings of Imam Reza in this field.
