Abstract
The aim of the present work is to assess the validity of the attribution of imams' healing dignity, especially in the biography of Hazrat Reza (a.s.), with a descriptive-analytical method based on the theological beliefs of Imamiyyah in the school of Baghdad. The Baghdad theological school is one of the intellectually oriented Imami schools of theology that was popular in Baghdad from the second to the sixth century. Sheikh Mofid and Syed Morteza are among the most important theological figures of this period, and a different view on the subject of Imam's knowledge is remembered from them. Based on this, dignity is a specific task that the position of Imamate requires.. One of the types of affairs is the Imam's scientific authority, and the dignity of Imams' therapy as a subset of scientific affairs needs to be investigated. From the point of view of the Baghdad theologians, the position of the intellect and narration is different when facing the imam's knowledge of techniques unrelated to religious teachings: the intellect admits that the presence of complete knowledge of religious teachings in the imam is necessary; But in relation to non-religious sciences and knowledge that do not have a direct relationship with the matter of guidance; It does not rule on necessity or refusal; Therefore, if an authentic narration mentions the existence of such knowledge in the Imam; This can be proven in Imam; But Sheikh Mufid admits that he has not come across such an authentic quote.
