Economy, as one of the aspects of social life, plays an important role in society and all aspects of human life. Economic components include elements that play an important role in the analysis and description of economic structure and performance and pay attention to human behavior and interactions regarding the production, distribution and consumption of resources. The purpose of the present research is to analyze the economic components in the narrations of Imam Reza (peace be upon him) and the amount of attention paid to it.The current research was done with a descriptive-analytical method of content analysis. The findings of the research showed that financial commitments, consumption, economic principles, work, earning and trade are among the most important economic components in the narrations of Imam Reza (peace be upon him). Financial obligations with 98 narrative themes and 49% frequency and earning money with 4 items and 2% frequency have the highest and lowest frequency, respectively. Knowing the economic components in the narrations of Imam Reza (peace be upon him) can help to better understand economic trends and challenges and provide a platform for making optimal decisions and improving economic performance based on Razavi's teachings.
